30 days nail art challenge day 14

Hi everyone,

Today I made the flower nail art from the 30 art nail art challenge, which means that I’m almost halfway through the challenge! I still enjoy thinking about the design and creating every nail  art. I’m also looking forward to the final ten days, when the challenges will get more and more difficult. But enough about the nail arts that still have to come, and back to the nail art of today; day 14. I first wanted to make sunflowers on my nails, but I couldn’t get them right and I ended up making a completely flowers. The base color I used is nr. CO4 Drama Queen (LE Welcome To Vegas) from Catrice. I didn’t use this color for a long time, but when I look at it now I wonder why! It is a gorgeous black color with shimmer in it, and especially in the sunlight it looks amazing. Continuing with the nail art, I then used my striper brush and the colors nr. 880 No Snow Petrol, nr. 400 Blue Cara Ciao, and nr. 580 Blues Brother Vol. II from Catrice to create the flowers. I made the white center with my brand less white polish. I hope you like the nail art, and I’ll see you soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 13

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, but today I have another nail art for you guys! The challenge for day 13 was to create a nail art with animal print. I didn’t want to go for the standard leopard of zebra nails, so when a friend of mine came up with the idea of cow-nails I created them as soon as I got home from school. As a base color I used my brand less white polish (I know, I use it a lot haha) and then, using my dotting tool, I created the black spots. For the black spots I used nail polish nr. 59 Black is back from Essence. On my ring finger I used the polish nr. 480 Miss Piggy Reloaded from Catrice. The nail art didn’t take long to create and looks simple but cute. I hope you like it, and I’ll see you soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 12

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying your free Sunday, and that you’ll enjoy the nail art I made today! As you can see, the theme of today was stripes. I used the color 850 Aretha’s R-E-S-P-I-N-K from Catrice as a base color, and allowed it to dry completely. Then I applied nr. 59 Black is back from Essence on top of it. Using a toothpick, I drew the lines in the still wet black polish in such a way that the pink underneath it showed up. It’s quick, easy and fun, and can be combined with a lot of colors! Another fun idea is to first make a rainbow gradient as a base color and then to add the black and draw the lines in it. Below is the second picture of this nail art, and I hope to see you soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 11

Hi everyone,

As I did day 10 of the 30 days nail art challenge yesterday, today it’s time to go on to nail art number 11. This is, as you probably noticed on the first picture, a polka dot nail art! The base color is nr. 860 Browno Mars from Catrice, which is a gorgeous brown color with a lot of sparkles and shimmer. The dots are made with my brand less white polish, using my dotting tool. It is a really simple and quick nail art, but I think it looks really cute! Below is the other picture of the nail art, and I hope to see you soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 10

Hi everyone,

Today I will show you my last nail art from the ‘first part’ of the 30 days nail art challenge! The challenge for day 10 is making a gradient nail art. It is possible you’ve seen more gradients on my blog, because I already showed one in this and this article. This time I decided to make a green gradient, using the colors nr. 08 Did someone say nude? (LE Season of extremes) from Essence, and nr. 240 Sold Out For Ever, and 340 Run Forest Run! from Catrice. I also used the top coat CO4 Shake It! Flake It! (LE Million Styles) from Catrice. Below is the other picture of this nail art, I hope you liked it and I will see you guys soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 9

Hi everyone,

Today I will continue with the 30 days nail art challenge. I’ve thought a lot about which nail art I wanted to make for day nine, were the challenge is to make a rainbow nail art. I first wanted to make nyancat-nails, but because I’ve made them before I decided to go for something new! I used the nail polish nr. 59 Black is back from Essence as a base. After letting that dry completely, I used the colors nr. 360 Raspberry Fields Forever, nr. 240 Sold Out For Ever, and nr.  400 Blue Cara Ciao from Catrice. I also used nr. 95 Wanna be your sunshine from Essence and a mixture of my brand less white and nr. 08 from Hema. I took my dottingtool and dipped into these different colors to make the hearts. It didn’t take me really long to make, but it took ages to dry completely! I like the happy and bright end result and I hope you like it to! Below is the other picture from this day’s nail art, and I will see you soon!

30 days nail art challenge day 8

Hi everyone,

Today I have the metallic nail art for you guys, which belongs to day 8! I used the color nr. 140 Let’s Mauve On! from Catrice, and nr. 59 Black is back from Essence. I’m not really sure whether or not I like this color, because in the sunlight, it looks gorgeous (as seen on the picture above, and the second picture below), but once I’m inside it doesn’t look that great. Without the sunlight you won’t see the glitter (as seen on the first picture below), and without the glitter the color doesn’t look really good with the color of my hands. Furthermore I just made a really simple nail design, because I didn’t really know what to do with this day challenge. Below are the other pictures of my nails. I hope you like it, and I’ll see you soon!
